the pressure/power washing page should be about teaching and answering questions as well as show casing the work we all do. I believe if you do not own a pressure washer you are leaving money on the table. I would say 90% of the jobs i do have some form of pressure washing involved as an add on to our non pressure roof cleaning.
+10. And I have upsold/sold a neighbor roof cleanings off power washing jobs.
+10 here too! I almost never do just the roof. I almost always do an extra $100 -$400.00 worth of pressure cleaning of house walls, pool areas, porches, driveways & walks etc. I also think here in Florida at least, a good % of my roof customers would hire another guy, if I couldn't do their pressure washing for them, while I was there?

I must admit that once we moved forward with it and everyone started blasting away w/ pw threads, I felt that it might have been a mistake.
That is because I asked for people to post in the empty forums. I am quite sure it will die down, as far as the promotional threads go soon. I look at it as another way the Forum can help our posters possibly get some work, before winter hits. I set the power and pressure washing section as a seperate catagory, and I don't believe it will harm our SEO.

Not to worry my friends, I will not allow it to screw up the great SEO we all enjoy.
I think there is ultimately more money in roof cleaning, but realize it takes time to build a market for it, and many of our members also currently pressure wash.
That little extra pressure washing work they may get off the forum may mean surviving the long winter.
I am also thinking about an Equipment Review Forum, where people can post their experiences with hose reels, pumps, surface cleaners, etc, etc, etc.

I am not worried, you have put RCIA on top in a short time, you must know what you are doing! If it looks bad, you can stop it in a minute!
Having pressure washed for 33 years and soft-washed roofs for 20, I know there is more $ in roof cleaning.
But, adding 1/3rd to your income, by pressure washing too, is not chicken feed either!
That's about what I make off pressure washing, about a third of my total income and 2/3rds from Roof Cleaning.
I think an equipment review forum, that combines both roof cleaning and pressure washing equipment is a good idea!

plain and simple if you dont have or own a pressure washer you are leaving money on the table. Some things just need to be power washed. If your customer is scared of a pressure washer then it is up to you to explain the benefits of what it can do on certain parts of their home.

I have NEVER had anyone concerned about pressure washing anything but roofing.
Except those who ask "Will pressure washing knock my paint off?"
Answer is, "not if I don't want it to."
If anyone has all the roof cleaning they need to make their living, then I'd stop there.
If you need to make more, pressure washing will add at least a third more to most every job!
