YES I KNOW THE ANSWER.

You don't get tree sap off of roofs.

Pressure washing would be the only option, but it will take the roofing face with it.

I think this one is hopeless!

Well I may have the answer, I get pine tree sap on my truck where I park it. I tried everything from gasoline to Ice cubes...yes some one said try Ice cubes. What worked for me was the rubbing alcohol....put on sap real well waited a little bit and rub off with a rag...not hard rubbing either. Try the rubbing alcohol use a good amount...maybe it will break down or maybe a real soft brush and a little water....all I know is the alcohol breaks it down!

Now try getting it out of shingle granules.

I know. I hope I didn't come acress wrongly.

I live in SW florida and 2/3rds of the houses, including mine, have big pines over them.

I just know, sap won't come out of shingle granules, without the granules coming off too.
