Sounds great Chuck. I went on a trout fishing trip there myslef not too long ago. Some great fishing to be had just over the mountain in Cherokee, NC, on the reservation. Keep an eye out for the elk that have been reintroduced there too!

Caught my first Brown Trout on a fly there last year over at Nantahala ! Make sure and see the elk while you are there, worth every bit of the drive to go and check them out! Ask any local, they'll tell you the best spot to go to.

I just got back from Cherokee a few weeks ago! Some great trout fishing. I'm going again in October. Trout love corn nibblets by the way. biggrin
