Just pulled into the driveway from Tampa. I've got to say publicly what a GREAT experience the NCE show was. It was wonderful to finally put faces & personalities with the names I've seen here for 1.5 years. Learned so much from the classes and certifications, learned even more from talking shop with my fellow cleaners.
Got to spend some quality time with the Godfather of roof cleaning, Chris Tucker of Apple Roof Cleaning In Tampa. Just the opportunity to sit with him and talk shop was worth the price of the whole trip!
Also, made some QUALITY contacts & referral sources that I'm sure will be very profitable to Spray Wash Exterior Cleaning in the years to come! Plus made some great friends with whom I know I'll stay in contact.
It you haven't attended one of these events, make sure you go to one in the future. This was my first one, I a promise you I'll be back again & again! It was beneficial to me on so many different levels!
Wanted to publicly thank Kory, & Ron for all their work in getting this ship to sail! Also, thank you Sirocco Systems for the AWESOME prize!!!!!! Can't wait to get my oil/water separator & filtration system up and running! And thank you AC & Bill for the time & advice you've given to me for my business! I really appreciate all you guys!
Sincerely,
Ray

I'm assuming it filtrates the waste water and purifies it? I see these systems when gas stations retrofit new tanks, I'm guessin this is a much smaller like system for pressure washing systems? Pretty kool win!

Glad to hear everyone had a great time and learned a lot.
Who has the numbers on attendance and participation?
How much money was raised in the dunking booth for charity?
How many attended Bill's roof cleaning class?
How many attended Chris's class?
Did "Gutterdog" win anything this year?
Was this year bigger than last year?
Inquiring minds want to know.
Gary
I had 21 people attend my class, and Bill had 5 I think ?
Tampa was 1/2 the size it was last year, better in some ways, not as good in others.
Ron and Kory did a great job, and I had a better time at this Tampa Roundtable then I did last year. I was there every day of this Tampa Roundtable.
I can answer some of these.
It was great to see all of you again and the newcomers. Real good to spend time with Chris and Larry again!!
It was a lower attendance than last year, but more fun and more enthusiastic due to the charity events.
Celeste raised a lot of money setting up the quick dunk tank attack!!
They raised somewhere around $5500 overall for Make-A-Wish foundation!! Thanks to Paul Kassander for setting that up!! He is one of the most caring persons you will ever meet in this industry.
My class had 7 attendants and the class from our RCIA referrals donated another $200 to the charity!!
Mike did not win anything I know of, Morgan did and we instantly auctioned the prize off for Make-a-Wish. This was a repeated trend and was a lot of fun to be a part of.
We were visited by two officers of the DOT in Fl.
They stated that a new enforcement program started this year has started to target smaller contractors for DOT violations, so watch your laws Floridians!!
They have currently 5 enforcement officers looking for violators!
I forgot one more important thing. Allison Hester and Steve Stephens were there. It was great to finally meet them in person and if you ever get the chance you should make the time to meet them.

I spent a week with Steve, Steve is the one that got my started in the Power washing Industry.
He was Hydrotec Pressere cleaning Raleigh North Carolina.
Tampa for us was a real eye opener. I learned a lot of ways to generate new markets, customers, services, and $. The best for me was the comradery of my fellow cleaners. I got to meet some incredible people, that I'm sure I'll will continue to stay in touch with. Being my first time I was not sure how it would be, but it was awesome. Highly recommend to anyone who has not gone, go! It is worth every penny you'll spend. Chris's class was a great, lots of great marketing ideas, the man speaks from his heart good or bad. I think I'm "shavin that chit of my chin." I got to dunk the roof cleaning king, sorry Chris. Joe's class was a real eye opener for me, as far as expanding my business to bring in additional income in the cold months. Seeing demos and being able to use equipment hands on was great. I never knew roof cleaners and pressure washers made such great dancers. LOL! Its was great to finally put faces to names and logos. Highly recommend attending if you've never been. Thanks to all the Instructors, Speakers and Vendors.
The only thing that sucked was leaving at 5:30pm saturday and getting home at 1:30pm Sunday. Gotta love canceled flights
