getting my fall advertising ready, do you guys include gutter whitening with gutter cleaning or is it an add on?
Mike just to give you a little heads up, your not going to beable to whiten gutter below 60 degree's the cleaners just are'nt effective for gutter whitening.
Trying to remember last fall with scrubbing gutters. I think Clyde is right. It is temperature sensitive. Did a job beginning of Dec. Don't remember the Temps. Couldn't get them all the way clean. Also consider this. Gutters are like bridges. They freeze quicker, and thaw slower. So maybe with scrubbing them its actually colder up there. Gonna try using hot water this fall to wash. I think ill be able to wash later in the year and start earlier next year.

hot water won't help either mike, early this spring when it was still below 60 I couldnt get them cleaned, I had to go back later to redo them
We offered a free gutter whitening as a special over the winter for customers who signed up for their spring cleaning. I couldn't wait until we finished those jobs. I won't be offering it for free anymore, that was the longest month of roof cleaning ever.
Definately an add on, but like Mike D. said - we include the cleanout on all roof cleaning jobs.
