That's really beat Chris. Tell Jamie I said hello and get better so he can get back to running circles around those hacks down there. Hope to see you in a couple days, hope we can see Jamie again too.

It's awful news, Chris. I'm shocked just reading about it.
It often amazes me -- we can plan and prepare for things so well, even things in the periphery, but then we're blindsided on some idle Tuesday by something we had nothing to do with or couldn't have expected. It just makes you shake your head.
I'm sorry to hear it, Chris, but I am hopeful.
My wife and I will pray for Jamie and for you and your family as you deal with the worry and emotions of it all. If there's a way I can help you, in addition to prayer, let me know.
Stay strong,
Al
What you posted, made me think of a bible verse Eccleiastes 9:11
I know MEN DON'T TALK ABOUT THE BIBLE, but I do sometimes and it never scares me off.
You and some other good and great people in history have talked about it, Chuck.
Thanks for sharing the view and interpretation, and a bit of your past. It's difficult stuff.
Brings to mind "The Shack" by William P. Young. I recommend it.
I'm so sorry to hear that I have read so many of your posts on here and on other forums I feel I know you when I don't at all. good luck with the lancing and let us know how it comes out
We wish you a speedy healing and recovery to perfect heatlh. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jamie, your family and Chris.
In an effort to offset Jamie taking some time off, can we set up a place to donate?
Your family at PWP
Thanks Lori That was a very nice offer. We should be OK, since we moved all our work to next week.
Surgery was done today on Jamie, and the last chance I/V antibiotics started to work enough for a huge Pus head to form that went clear down to his forearm bone. This morning, they surgically lanced the pus head, and used a "recovery device" to suck it all out. He is bandaged, and it is still oozing, so bandages must be changed frequently. He is on a Morphine Drip, and "feeling no pain". They saved his arm, and I am grateful. I was told had he waited ANY longer to go to the hospital, he would be an amputee! Like most cleaners, we are tough people, my Son and I, plus, we have no Health Insurance. We simply can't afford it. It took a recent heart attack to send me to the Hospital. We just "suck it up", and go on when we can. I just dropped off 20 dollars at the hospital so he can buy some Snickers bars, and other goodies.

great news Chris, I've been thinking about him all day .... & who the hell needs a snickers bar when you got a morphine drip !!!!
Amen to that !!!!! My priest asked me if I could imagine what Heaven was going to be like ? I answered "Like the first day of a Morphine Drip" ?
I never had morphine, but in 1997, the year my last wife died of cancer, I remember her going from extreme crying pain, to smiling, that 1st day on morphine.
It is a real wonder drug, when needed!
Again, so glad for the good news!
