Here are the details as there are at least two threads goin on this topic. Perhaps an acitve mod will choose to zap one of them? :
November 12th, 2011, at Wellington's in the Westfield's Conference Center in Chantilly VA. This is the same location that it was held at last year. Feeback was very postive re: the facility.
We'll have a very informal reception between 11:00 and 11:30, as people arrive from various locations.
Working lunch will likely occur around 12:00, or as people see fit. (Note this is 100% 'dutch' - no money will be collected, so everyone is on their own for tabs.)
We'll continue in to the afternoon/evening and even the night for those that choose to.
There is room in the side parking lot for rigs for those that choose to bring them. (I doubt if the valets would know how to drive some of them anyway
I'm still waiting on word back from their sales department on discounted rates for rooms. For those that are budget concious, more cost effective rooms can be found locally.
I'm trying to make it, but only if the weather holds out the next couple of weekends. We just landed a nice commercial roof cleaning and are looking to have it completed the weekend before NOVA.
Room is booked. It's my birthday on November 11, so I'm gonna spend my b-day weekend with a great group of roof cleaners and some drinks!
+1 re Nickleback. And Jim, If memory serves, you drive some fast wheels
Eric - if you don't mind, please PM me with the rate they charged you for the room. I'm going to try and negotiate it down as more folks book and state they're coming. Thanks and glad you're coming!!
I gotta be cheap too, just spent alot of money. Sorry.
Mike, Mike, Mike..... While you and Jose C were having a good time, well in to the night I learned something from a veteran in this industry that put THOUSANDS of dollars in my pocket this year. Thousands.
