$2115 ... not a bad day ... do you team up with any gutter cleaning or power washing companies? i know you're comfortable with your niche but to me that's a lot of money left on the table ... even if you had something small and hired a college kid to do all the work i'd think you can add a lot more to your bottom line? either way, $2115 gross is a hell of a day no matter how you slice it.

 aaron they are probrably 1000 to 1500 sq ft and hes only doin one side. Anybody on here could do the same thing but why would you?

 he showed me the checks that were writen out to the power wash company i nothing else going for the day. so your telling me that you would walk away from $720 ? it only took 2hrs then he got me more went from 2 roofs to 11 roofs and i was home buy 6:00. i would never advertize it it just worked out that way

I would never come down that much from my original estimate. I have walked before and will walk again. Now I don't mean to sound to cruel here but that big " PAY DAY " will come full circle and bite you in the azz. Word gets around when you " Low Ball " as fast as when you do great work. Maybe if you had a better " rap " about what you do they would have chosen you at a higher price like $275. That handy man and the homeowners will brag what they got it done for.....and everyone will expect it. I am sorry for coming across so strong but I think moves like that hurt us all.

that's a fair point ... perhaps it is a bit penny wise pound foolish ... and don't apologize for coming across strong, that's what makes this site what it is
