I just saw this air compressor new, ( http://pacificpowerequip.com/Air-Compressor.asp ) with the plastic still on it, at a local pawn shop. The guy says it's been there far too long and he's tired of moving it around. The tag on it says $700.00 He seems ecstatic that I'm interested in it and gives me a price of $400.00 to get it sold. What would you do? I've been in business for a while and have been bitten before from cheaping out on equipment. These are built in a plant 20 min. from my house but I believe they are built cheap. I guess I just need someone to talk me out of this cuz I'm luvin' this price!
What would you guys do??

Your not gonna hear me say run away. I would grab it at that price.
I picked up a 4gpm 4k psi belt drive PW awhile back that was at a pawn shop. It only had about 6-8hrs on it. I guess they didn't know what they are really worth cause the price on it was $336. something. I couldnt load it into my truck fast enough. She is still kicking arse today. Sometimes you just get lucky! This may be your lucky day.
Offer $350.00, he may go to $375.00. If not pay the 400.00. Thats a good deal. I use to work in a pawn shop years ago. We always made deals on old items, even if it was at a loss just to get rid of it.
What Larry said sound good. I jumped on a lil grocery getter truck.
Yesterday, running around, It started slipping gears. Was in big truck today. Was gonna wash monday, but I gotta take care of some more BS with the county.
Henry said he never buys nothing used. He got the money! I bought a used burner from him! lol!!! He checked it out. That trailer is not ready yet.
I'm hoping just a trans filter kit, fix it!
I'm sorry. Lot of things going on right now.
I'd rather find the PWer he found than what you found. I'm still 12 volt.
