80 year old tile roof

Did an estimate yesterday for an eighty year old clay tile roof. Roof does not leak and is supposed to last 100 years (holy crap, talk about gettin your $ worth) The roof is only stained mostly under the dormers. It is green algae and moss growth. I know the solution will take care of the green algae but do you think it's safe to clean a roof that old? Do u think it will restore the color of the tiles? I've only done a few tile roofs being from the midwest (not too may around here) especially ones that are 80 years old.

I bid this church roof about a month or so ago.  It was built in 1921 with an addition in the 1980's.  Stone coated steel roof.  I'll find out next week if we get to clean it, but I sure hope so 'cause I think it'll clean up really well.
