I've been using go payment for almost a year now, it's easy to use and nice to be able to offer credit card payment for clients who who like that but most want to pay with checks in my area. If I used it more I think I would want to get a swiper for the lower rate of 1.7%

No contracts, no monthly payments if you do under $1000, and the card reader was free.

If over $1000 a month i believe they charge 12 or 13 bucks a month.

Seems like a good deal now.

I use Square with an iPad and sign my pad. It's pretty slick when you need it.
(prefer checks though)

Eric, Square works great, but I find that it throws off my Quickbooks #'s because they take it right off the top.

I think Intuit sends a bill every month, which is preferable to me.

Intuit go payment is what we are using. Easy and fast to set up and simple to use. Still prefer cash.

In my area majority of my customers still prefer to pay with check, even though I offer credit card and paypal. I would think more and more would love the idea of paying with credit card. Everyone else run into that as well?

I don't tell customers that we accept credit cards unless they ask! More pay with check than anything else, though.

Ditto, it's pretty smooth swiping there card and having them sign your pad.
But only the first time. Then it's just expensive. Nice to have when it's necessary though.
