I used PressureTek's F13 one day a few weeks ago and it worked flawlessly.. Then I tried it on 2 other jobs and it did not clean the streaks off the gutters at all, not even a tad.
The label said that the chemical can become separated or something at a certain temp, but this was not the case since we never reached these temps and stored the product properly.
Anyone else experience this or are there some gutters that nothing can help?
One gutter was really nasty and I didn't expect it to work, it didn't do anything. Another gutter was pure white except for stripes running down it, it did nothing. Then I tried it on the same house with just a few streaks on the other side of the house (older gutter that had not been replaced yet) and it didn't do anything again. I tried greased lightning on all of these surfaces and that didn't do it either.
Any thoughts on this? I'm looking for a product that really works and I'm just wondering what I am missing here. By the way, this isn't really a thread about what to use because I can search for that, it's more about why did this just stop working all of the sudden.

It was in the 70's both days and the first day when it worked I mixed it at about 25% F13 to 75% water.
The other days, I tried anywhere from 25% all the way to 100% in a small test area to see what would happen and it didn't change a thing. Would you think this is a problem with the chemical or does the product not work on certain types of stains?

F13 is the best out there for gutters. I've had gutters that no matter what I used, wouldn't come clean.
The first time I used it, I was completely amazed. The 2nd and 3rd time, nothing at all happened and the stains were not that severe except for one case. That led me to believe that either the product broke down, or it does not tackle certain stains.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try super clean and a few other products. I'll also try the F13 I have now without diluting much to see if that changes anything on the next job. I know I could call Bob directly, but I like to post things here in case someone searches, they might find the answer without having to call for help.

Did you brush the gutters or are you spraying on and rinsing? I love F-13. I buy it 5 gallons at a time. I brush everything when I use it. I sell the service at a premium price and brush all gutters and downspouts as a result.
The only time I ever have any trouble with it is when I have mixed it up in a 5 gallon container to clean with and saved it for the next job. I don't know if it breaks down after it is mixed with water and is used to clean with, but sometimes I have to strengthen it or start a new batch. When I say the next job, I mean a few days later not a few hours. The most aggressive I have ever used it was 1 part F-13 to 2 parts water.

70's are definitely warm enough. Sometimes you run into gutters that just don't come clean.
AMEN to that! Sometimes the chit seems to electroplate itself right INTO the aluminum itself. We promise perfection for a roof cleaning, but we always say "We will get your guttters as clean as we possibly can"
