I always try to shop on-line versus the conventional brick and mortar store. You almost always save money. And as long as the product ships out of a state different from yours, you don't have to pay state sales tax which is nice. My favor shopping site is www.shopzilla.com.

That's nice about wanting to save money. But, at what cost to your area ? How many people that you may know are not working in your area because everyone is buying off the internet ? It's kind of like the lowballers. We hate them but people use them. I feel ordering from the internet something that can be purchased in my area is the same as people using lowballers to have their roof cleaned. Just my thoughts. I wuld much rather pay a little more, and have the money keep people in my area working. Who knows, they may own a house that needs to be cleaned. And, the money I spend at the store could come back to pay me to clean their house. SO, you guys that try to buy everything off the internet, quit complaining about lowballers, and homeowners not wanting to pay so much for your services. You are getting what you deserve. Just my thoughts.

Yer right. I'm going to the local store and buying Quickbooks pro for an extra $130. NOT!

I am buying from the internet. It might be from somewhere not around here or it might be from Kansas. I am giving a job to someone in Kansas, and with the money I save I can hire someone to clean my roof. Someone in Kansas is buying something over the internet from a company here in NC. That is giving someone a job here and he is saving money so he can have his roof cleaned by a professional roof cleaner.

I'd have to agree with you here. When it comes to products and you are getting the EXACT same thing with the EXACT warranty and are happy with the service/shipping times, then you'd be crazy to not go with the cheaper deal. If it is being sold for $90 at an online store vs. $200+ at Office Depot then you are flat out getting ripped off at Office Depot.
