I was just researching accumulators. Could this be a solution to my 1/2 hose issue? Pressure tek sells the 12v kits standard with 1/2 hose and accumulators.

some of these guys have 81 post in less than 30 days cause they are not reading just asking asking asking, want everything given to them, hell it took me damn near a 8 months to get that many post , cause I studied , premium membership does not mean you get all this stuff with out studing , it means you get to read what guys that have been doing this for awhile techs and grow from there experience, there should be 6 months - 1 yr of studing before certification ... imho...

All due respect Bro, we just layed that all out for you. The others have indicated that the search button will do the trick. I also read until my eyes fell out before I asked one question, many nights reading all the threads. Granted there is alot to read, but it will pay off in the long run with the knowledge you'll gain.
Everyone is willing to help but they won't just lay it all out. Here one has to pay their dues, and I don't mean just money, before the reply button gets used.
Last bit of feedback from me for now, call Bob @ Pressure tek.
Good luck researching.

I agree, there has been a lot of redundant questions here lately. People need to search and read more and then read some more. I try not to ask too much.
So would a year of lurking count towards certification if it was up to you?

no, but 6 months of membership would, and some pictures of work, not just 100 questions a month jon, or 100 post .. I see you have 88 post in a month, not bad at that rate you will have over a 1000 a year.. I have been here over 2 yrs and dont have much more than that, all I am saying is stop asking and read read read

I don't know why you are jumping all over me for, I am not the one asking stupid questions that have already been answered. In fact why don't you dig a little deeper into my profile and you will see that I have only asked maybe a total of 5 questions, 6 if you count the one to you. Almost all of my posts have been responses and not questions.
If you would have read the first the first part of my response you would have seen that I was agreeing with using the search button first before asking a question.
Sorry if I went over the limit for the month. If I don't respond back to you after this it is because I apparently have to wait until May to post anymore.
Jon

Well atleast weve stayed on topic. Relax Almost everything has been answered. Is some new guy (like me) really gonna come along and give you 100 valuable posts. Possibly, a couple years or more after they have done some beautiful work. Thanks to your help.
Must be the weather getting to everyone. I agree with Jon. Look at his topics started and you will see he has responded to more posts than he has started.
Everybody take a deep breath, and pray the rain stops. It always has before!

Sorry jon , wasn't trying to attack you, I know you are not the one asking all the same questions, just using your post as a guide line so to speak , the people know who they are... Sorry for the assault ..

thanks all and sorry for hijacking your thread William but its all good info
Are you newer guys not able to find this info with the search button, alot of these things you are all asking has been said many of many times. Just this morning, question on (dawn)surfactant, smell of Sh, and hose and tip sizes with delvan pumps. all this info is here
please try studing and searching on the public and premium sides..
What I do is research one of my questions, which usually spawns another, when I couldn't find the answer i was looking for because the answers posted in different threads were vague, incomplete, or from 2009,2010, Then I ask a question. I don't want to base spending $100's of dollars on an answer from somebody from 2009 that may be outdated and not in use anymore. Equipment, techniques, and learning change everyday let alone yearly. Most of the threads I read looking for answers end up with some poster bashing the question telling the person to USE THE SEARCH! and the questions are not answered and the thread goes off topic. Kind of like, someone in the future searching for the same info I am, will find this post to end in the same manner.
I am a member on another forum for fishing, and guys do the same thing on them boards and spend more time going through post and bashing people that ask questions then answering any questions. The whole ethical reasoning repeat questions aren't liked, is so when you open up a forum board you don't see one thread saying for example, WHAT TIPS DO I USE, then the next thread says , WHAT TIPS DO I NEED, and so on. Its called flooding the board. IMO i've always just answered the questions because its easier to do than to argue with someone and create bad atmosphere on the boards. Which causes more flooding. If I don't feel like answering a question that I just did, I don't bother even opening the next thread to read it. I never write a 3 paragraph post to tell the person to use the search and quit asking? I was always under the impression forums were made for discussion.
No hard feelings, I'm just trying to learn the business, If you don't want to answer my questions you don't have to. But please don't flood the thread with unrelated info.
Sorry man didn't mean to seem harsh , when I first joined I had alot of these questions, And we didn't have a premium side that you could just pay to read all the info in one place.
I've been through countless threads as far back as 08', they might seem outdated...But there is hella good info about all kinds of things that you might encounter in the field, that you wouldn't expect. Plus you get to see the pros and cons of things like equipment rigs etc, If you do your research you will not be sorry.
Everybody's set-ups are different and you might find some interesting things that will help you decide what you really need and really don't, might even save yourself some money along the way.
I just made a list and just started checking thing's off, Starting with insurance...
I've included pics of my first rig all the way to my current. I only did one roof with that trailer and I've changed it so many time's since then.
Welcome aboard Bill!! I hope you clean many roofs my friend!!
Bill.I noticed you didn't even bother to fill out any info in your biography? So for me ,and I could be wrong,it seems like you just plunked down a hundred bucks & started asking questions??? I would be more prone to help someone who is a little more forth coming.
I too had tons of questions when I first joined, which wasn't that long ago but seriously 90 % of newbie questions have been answered a million times.
I'm sure you would be a little snippy if you were asked the same question several times a week so lighten up dude.
The new kid in the room should always tread a little lighter!

I love your last line. I like it when the newbies come here and complain about the 100 post rule. These are the same morons who will go to someones house and complain about there furniture.
Got my equipment on order. I think I got what I need according to my research, great customer service at PWP and PressureTek, and informative replies from some of the members. I knocked the 300' of hose down to 200' (i'm going to see if my local auto parts store can crimp me some ends). I ordered 5850 pump for now, all the fittings, suction hose, and some tips. Welded up a stand tonight to mount the reel and pump (and fried my eyeballs doing it, thats why i'm up a 1am). I finally found a sh + surfactant source after about 50 phone calls and several web searches. I don't know if its a good deal or not but its the cheapest I've found and they'll deliver to my residence up to once a week for $27 per shipment. Have to go talk to my insurance agent and have her add this to my services, (if its even on their chart, roof cleaning is unheard of here). I'm going to practice on my neighbors roof. Then if I KNOW I can provide the service, it'll be time to do some selling. Once I get some money moving back in instead of out, I'll start playing with the equipment a little and modifying.
