remeber when we were kids, cutting lawns around the nieaborhod $1 was too much to fill our 1 gal gas tank but wanted more, so we can work longer? we were just working for 1ct fisches and $ to go to the arcade. WOW! what a diferance i feel bad for the kids today! They aint gota chance.

I am burning 90 to 100 gallons of deisel a week at 3.89 per gallon. Not feeling much love from Exxon or BP these days.

I know it's easy to blame speculators, but I'll respectfully disagree.

I saw a quote by John Maynard Keynes today, which I can't find now, but basically says that the easiest and most effective way for a government to steal from it's citizens, is through inflation. Have you noticed the bottom is falling out on the dollar (inflation)? It's not an accident.

I'll try not to get on my political high horse, but I want you to know that daytraders are just the scapegoat.The criminals that take the payoffs and pull the strings are the politicians. And it's time to get mad. We could see unrest like they had in Greece before this is over.

Not trying to preach, but we all have a responsibility to educate ourselves and those around us if it serves the common good. Just like you guys are educating me. I hope you don't take it personally.

Mr. Wyatt i wouldnt be surprised. I honestly feel like im being raped each time I refuel. You would think that after the last spike of 08 we would of put something in place to avoid this. Nothing has been done. Now some Texas refineries went offline. Wait til a hurricane knocks out some rigs in the gulf. Theres your perfect storm and hello $6-$7/ gas. I really feel bad for small businesses like ours who are shelling out and extra 1/2 a mortgage payments worth of gas per month.

Has any one looked in to the fuel scells like the hydrogen fuel cell adding it to your truck.

I use Fuelman for our fuel. I get emails showing how much each truck uses, how much each machine uses and who is fueling the trucks and equipment, what time it was and where. I love it. But I spent $635 last week. 3 trucks and 4 machines. Gas is 3.89 and diesel is 4.05.

I did purchase a motorcycle for the purpose of estimates,meetings and checking job sites after completions. I put 600 miles on in one week. Diesel at 4.15 a gallon would have cost me alot to do. I fill up the bike for less than 12 and average about 43 mpg
