i'm averaging about 350-450 a week for the truck and 60-70-for the equipment

I need to get a trailer for the bike just cant figure out how the ladder rack will work maybe I can just do ranchers and spray from the ground lol

We have been averaging anywhere between $300-$350.00 per week. 1 truck and 1 rig with 3 machines on it. Funny thing is. My SH bill is way higher and sits around the $500.00 mark for a full week when we are busy and I get that for less than a dollar a gallon. I wish my truck and equip would run off SH. It would be a lot cheaper getting around.

I had to fill my truck that I use for giving estimates 3 times last week, also 4 other trucks with machines. I will spend over 1,000 a week for a while. But I have to look at it as a good thing and be happy we are working. It just kills me when I tell people it cost 100. just to have 2 guys drive out to your house, and they do not get it.

I'm thinking about setting up the back of my truck for a skid for just roof cleaning. Pulling my trailer all the time is taking alot more gas. I like to have everything with me though to try to up sell the house wash and concrete cleaning.

I was thinking about adding a fuel surcharge to every job.Maybe $25.00 a job.

Good luck with the surcharge. Im pretty much adding money because I know Im getting talked down. People are shopping. Roughly 70% of my bids are competing with at least 2 other estimates.

Yea!!! when gas prices go bad ...it seems like people paninc and they don't wanna spend any money....this is whe contractors are bidding jus to cover they expenses...

our job is just to hang in there ...there is storm coming ..but we just need to stand strong while it last! every body else will b gone ...us...will still b on bussiness!!!!

As long as your price falls somewhere in the middle you shouldn't have a problem. I never drop more then a few bucks. If the Homo wants the cheapest price. they can hire the other guy with the cheap illegal labor.

We average around $500 a week...

Here lately Ive been driving my wifes honda civic when my truck isnt needed. Our pressure washers burn more gas in a day than that little car does.

Around $200.00 per week, gas is nearly $4.00 per gallon in MD and it's really putting a hurtin' on the wallet! I couldn't imagine spending $500 a week on gas, goodness!

Spent $400 last week. That's filling the work truck, my personal truck and gas for the PW. Luckily my wife has a company car and gas card so that's what we take if we go to dinner or anything else in the evening. Our price tends to stay a little lower than the Florida average because a lot of the oil comes into Port Canaveral which is just a few miles north of us. It's $3.79 here
