I definitely went over the cleaning process, but this guy just thinks this profession is a joke, I suppose. I'm happy to pass over this one.

Phil,

All you can do is explain to the guy that you are a PROFESSIONAL company that has real expenses and a certain quota that you have to make every day to pay all of your expenses. If this is a full days work, you need to make X amount to cover your expenses (insurance, advertising, workman's comp, gas, employees, specialty chemicals (so you don't damage his valuable property) and consumables. If he can't understand the difference between a professional company that will do his job and still be in business in 5 years and can cover any accidents that may happen during the cleaning process then you have to tell him that you will not do the job. There is a reason his "guy" is no longer around to perform this cleaning. Don't let the customers dictate to you. You are in control. Be professional and an expert on what is takes to clean his house and he either has to respect that or be a cheapskate!

Brian

That house really needs to be acid washed and light power wash to remove all the efflorences. That would be in the 3-4000 dollar area. But if your just spraying and cleaning with SH you should be able to get that done in 4-6hrs. I would be at 860 to clean that house.

Hey guys, he liked the look of the brick (it was partially painted white by a painter). He wanted the house washed and mold removed, but there was a ton of it. The house I quoted between 550 and 600 and 380 for the wall, and a little under 200 for the pool house. There were discounts that were applied per my website, so these prices were after discounts.

I explained to him why the price is what it is, but he was ignorant and thought it was still an easy job. That is several years of mold on the wall and pool deck, plus he wants to maintain the look of the brick. He had high expectations (I want it done today!) and wants to pay bottom dollar for that work. No thanks.

I appreciate all of the replies.
