Had a job roof and house wash Tuesday morning. When I got there I spoke to the h/o and explained in detail everything I would be doing (this is the second time explaining, first was when I gave her a quote). So, I got to work, came across a pretty bad spot with years of built-up growth. I hit that area twice and went on with my day. Once I was finished with everything I spoke with the h/o explained that I would keep an eye on that area, and that I would not accept payment until it was clean.
So, I went back Wednesday afternoon and it looked 95% better. I am a bit paranoid so I hit it again with a pump up sprayer. I explained to her that at this point we will let it dry out and let mother nature run its course. She was satisfied, so I handed her an invoice and told her not to pay until she was comfortable that it looked as good as she wanted. She said she was more than ready to pay, went inside with her and she handed me two $50 bills and said this is extra, keep it off the books and have a good time this weekend. Said her and her husband had been extremely happy with the entire process and wanted to give me a tip. She then went on to write me a check for over $1,000. LIFE IS GOOD.
I want to thank David Hill, when I met with him back in September, I had doubts that I would be able to charge the prices that I am today. I didn't have the confidence that what I was doing was worth the money. Thanks David and thanks to RCIA!!!
