Ron,..what you described doesn't really fall into the category of roof cleaning that is discussed here. So coming here and telling us the work we do is "silly",...is off base. Make your money how you choose,..but don't down play others' preffered work.
Unrelated: Please take me off your "notice" list. I don't play the contests on here or join in on any of the programs. The text messages aren't necessary.

I can prove and Show I have cleaned more roofs than RCIA combined members including AC.
Just because I don't do silly residential roofs, I might be one of three here that cleans large commercial roofs.
Of course we deal with different methods do to manufacture specs.
My last job I posted here was around 165,000 feet
I believe you and that sounds very impressive. I am sorry to hear that you think residential roofs are silly.
Sorry, It is what it is.
I don't think it is what it is to anyone but you.
The night that you rambled on for most of our whole Talkshoe, it became clear, how self important you consider yourself. If you are such Hot $hit, why do you hang out here so much? Don't you have a big shot site to hang out at, with your big shot peers?
I do not recall reading any informative posts by you, that anyone here would have use for?
You don't even do what we do?
You are in actuality, in a whole different line of work.
So, go do your 165,000 sq ft whatever it is you do, and leave the real roof cleaning to those of us who clean roofs with RCIA methods!
Chuck

I have been asked to do "clean up & debris removal" as well.I do not consider that roof cleaning.Yes you are cleaning a roof but it,to me,falls more under "site clean up" or "trash pick up".
Really cleaning roofs for health and safety isn't roof cleaning? Lol
That's what you guys should be selling. The first time I user sh was in a dairy to kill bateria so people could drink milk safely. That was over 20 years ago.
I'm here for you!!
If your selling roof cleaning based on curb appeal your missing the boat. I would think in retirement community's you could sell on reducing airborne mold. This can lead to serious health issue with older folks that have lung problems.
Yes commercial roof cleaning is different but it's just roof cleaning on steroids. Roof inspections often include in removing very strange things. Couches , beds, furniture and all sorts of misc. Items.
As far as bigshot goes??? Lol I've been called worse, that's not going to push my buttons.
I'm here because I have and investment in the Rcia. I've been here longer than most of you. I clean roofs and I approve of the way you guys clean rooms. Sh does the same cleaning in a 6000 foot produce cooler. Black fungus disappears right before your eyes no different than a roof. Grocery store reach in coolers I use a very similar brew.
I spray acid for fun sometimes. Any of you ever used acid to clean a roof? I have
My business in my later years is tone down a bit. I wash about a 1/2 million feet of sidewalks each night. That's what I love to do.
I love you roof guys!! Interesting bunch

This was discussed on Talkshoe last night, it is too bad you were not there, the updates on the member packs will have a definite update by this Friday. Bottom line is things went south and they are working to get things put upright. I know everyone has been waiting a long time, and apologies at this point are useless, but it has not been forgotten either. After last nights Talkshoe I am confident things will be corrected very shortly.

I paid my fee about 20 times, have my reciept. Never got any member pack either.
service. Truthfully a couple questions caused me to think back. LOL All in all, pretty painless.
I forgot all about the member pack. I didn't get mine either

Congrats! I think it pulls some weight with some customers to see you are a certified roof cleaner. Especially nowadays, when all the lawn men, handymen etc do it too!
