We were in the Home Show this week end to spread the word about roof cleaning and here is our results.

 We joined the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce $300. Got a 10 x 10 booth at the Home show $600. Found on Craig's list a display screen for $200 ordered 1000 pens, 5000 post cards, display pictures for back drop, baggies, picked up candy.

Figure $900 to get in the show and $900 in display set-up stuff that we now can reuse most of it for the next show.

We gave away a free roof cleaning to only get people that were interested in getting their roof cleaned. If we cave away an Itouch we would of had everybody and their brother signing up...

End result, we educated a lot of people and we had 60 people enter the drawing out of that let's say 50 are rock solid leads and then lets say I sell only 1/2 of them 25 at $500 thats 12,500 minus the $1800 for start ups and that leaves us with projected sales $10,700 on the low side or 5x5= $25,000 on the high side.

 More important we will have a lot of happy costumers with a good word of mouth that will lead us to 100 more friends, family and neighbors wanting their roofs cleaned.

We also had a few costumers from last year show up and tell us how great their roof looks!

BTW... We also did a lot of networking with different vendors and we had 2 free write ups in the local newspaper. Hopefully it is a good jump start into our season...
