Do Any Of You Get Jobs From Insurance Companies?

Markus,

I haven't as of yet and the few Insurance Companies that I have talked to was not interested in it. Roof cleaning is still new around here so hopefully as the word gets out it will kick in.

On a different note, I have done a lot of insurance work in the past for construction and never had any problems with it.

I have done plenty of roofs {about twenty last year }that the homeowner was forced to have it cleaned by the ins. company. But I just dealt with the homeowner not the ins. company.

Same here. We have an insurance company that forces homeowners to treat the roof. I tried to call the insurance company and get on their list of vendors but they would not do it for roof cleaning since it was preventitive and not an actual claim.

This is true Pat. I had a lady from Queens call me about a roof clean last year. She said the Insurance company wanted it done. I don't have a Queens lic so I couldn't do it.
Do think the Insurance company's are reading the RCIA Forium? Next they will demand homeowner to hire only Certified Roof Cleaner. Go figure!

Just had my first job today where INS company required HO to have roof cleaned prior to inspection. HO had to pay for it, no help/recommendations from INS company.

I've cleaned several for homeowners who were required to have their roof cleaned. The insurance company would not renew their policy until the roof was cleaned.
