I bought the "Well Point" pipe from Lowes. I made 4 of them from one length and still have some left over. I use it for my roof cleaning pump and for downstreaming chems. Just cut the downstreaming ones short enough to fit the 5 gal pail.

Hey Al,
Is that the same pipe that Lori sells? I tried to find it in the plumbing section of the Lowes near me and could not find it... If so where in Lowes did you find it?
I use a 10” water filter setup (the kind normal people put in their houses), mounted on a stand I welded to the trailer. It’s above the rear wheel between the inlet hose reel and the tank. I qc’d both sides of the filter so I can disconnect whenever I want. I use 10 micron filters in it.
This unit was cheap to build and the filters can be cleaned several times before they need to be replaced.
I don't usually run water through my pumps that hasn’t gone through that filter. That’s real important here in Escambia County, FL, because after a few hours of running water through it, it will start turning brown from all the sand in the county water lines.
It only takes a minute or 2 to disconnect, rinse out, and slap it back in service. I realize this might be over kill for some people, but I like it, a lot!
I recently took it off... cuz it's time for a new deck on the trailer.
