Welcome Rick ! There used to be a Furlongs Pressure Washing here in Tampa, and I was friendly with the owner. He used to run a John Bean pressure washing pump, and buy from the same places we did. I used to send him pressure washing work, and he sent me roofs to clean. Any relation ?

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Actually my grandfather bought the business from a man named Mr. Furlong back almost fourty years ago. and we use to run all bean pumps up until 10 yrs ago or so. So it very possibly could be the same furlong. I believe there may still be someone operating under that name or trying to but we are that company now.

Yep, see I have a great memory! It was Mr Furlong! No more Bean pumps ? WTF ?

yeah bean pumps are a thing of the past. lol. we moved to cat pumps. they are 1/3 the size easy to work on and take far less to run. where we were using a pto on a truck now we use a honda motor which will run days off a few gals of gas. a lot less maintenance too.

WELCOME! I saw your post in a thread talking about eco-friendly roof cleaning products, where you mentioned that you use Simple Green. I made a reply there with a question and some thoughts.
