Matthew, what you stated may be true but it really should have been started as it's own thread. Doesn't really fit into what the poster was asking about the different components in the current mix. It's like your posting relevant info,..but in the wrong thread.

You're probably right.

My thought was to help him out by giving him information about alternatives to the mix he was asking about, but it didn't really come across that way.

So, Brandon...

And the "Chlorine" evaps in less than 48 hours.

What kills the plants more times than not is the salt.

 I was just going to ask the question about after the mix dries, the chlorine evaporates, arent we just left with salt??? Or when water is added does it fire the chlorine up?
