The 50 points is now written up. Who owns this 50 point standard the Rica members or Rcia, INC.? which is you, who will own the certification? the members or you as RCIA INC? So what’s going to keep you from selling the certification to Delux if RCIA inc owns it along with the 50 point standard that was written up by members of this forum? I mean we all know you are about making that cash,

Also your class is teaching this soft wash certification, it’s all about your skid and your chemicals from my understanding, what do you have here a 3 yr contract with Delux.?

Brett and David, while I agree that apologizing to someone for something you said or did is the sign of a real man, being the first to apologize when there's 2 people in the wrong Makes you the bigger man.

The problem comes in when nobody acknowledges they were wrong. That then puts you on the same plane.

Almost 100% of people who've posted on all of the subjects owes not only the board as a whole an apology, but also everyone they've said negative things about.

Brett and David, I acknowledge that I have said and insinuated some very negative and insulting. For that, I apologize. Please accept it and I promise to keep my tone more civil in the future.

I like that you most of you have nothing to say about the way good guys like Marcus are getting slammed just for coming and saying anything. Stop asking people questions in a thread, use your head, AC might not even see it.

Here is what I would do.

Send him a pm or send Delux an email or a phone call
Make it very clear that you are going to take the conversation you have with anyone public.
Then come show us the results if you want everyone to know the answer.
But asking people here and expecting an answer in any reasonable amount of time makes no sense.

The cert wasn't done because your BOD members were either to busy to come to meetings or quite for various reasons. Because we needed more help than we had, which we now have more of and they are doing it. At least that is what I saw.
The cert committee was also aware of Deluxe's offer, but has made no official statement back to them.
We (the cert committee) decided we were going to ask them for more money than they offered, but as far as I know the committee saw benefit in letter our future cert be used by any class that could teach RCIA stuff, that keeps all the certs coming from our org instead of competing against our org.
It was not finalized and I don't know if AC knew that or not, if you look AC said it was negotiated, but Delux does not claim that is an RCIA cert yet. So mistakes were made I agree, but really get the details by calling them or communicating with them directly, it is a much more thorough form of communication.

Personally I think that if we approve some vendors to use our cert we win, they are using our cert and paying the org. How is that hurting us?? It helps create the umbrella and the unity any trade should want.

Believe me though, I get it. The timing and the way AC and Delux have been perceived is definitely not good, and not good for the org to fight about it.

A clarifying note from some other comments I have seen: No one has taken any money from RCIA, it has only gone to reimburse bills the association created, like the forum ad free fee and mailings etc.

The plan is to make a 501c-3 which no one is making any real effort to try and do, mostly because the right people really haven't come together yet. That was my main priority but no one else even seems to know what one is or have time to read about it etc etc and the road just turns to dust...............

There has been talk but no one has really pushed, I looked for those people for this for almost 2 years and weather anyone thinks they want to do it or not, I am not going to hold someones hand as they sign it. True people interested in it would have it on there desk already as I do and they would be meeting with others and making it happen. They would ask me were are we going to fly to and all meet to sign it?? Sending me a pm that you want to help or telling me you will sign it is not good enough. I heard that a bunch when Dave tried all this and when the time came, it was all lip service. Show yourselves, and show each other your commitment by actually working to make it happen rather than waiting for someone to do it for you. Many have asked why I don't think we have those people here. The above stated are those reasons. A trade org is not made well be one or two people herding the rest grumbling to their goal. It is made by those that can help each other rather that hinder each other towards that goal.

In the mean time the guys are out here, Gary, Chris, Brett,Matt, Me etc and they are answering your questions as best they can.

I hope I didn't just waste my laptop battery and someone can actually understand what I am saying without trying to kill someone over it with their words. It's worse than that MTV drama Jersylicious in here.
