Nice Bob please let us kow how this turns out for you, I ran one on ABC last yr for about a month , not 1 call , but it did get us out there. ABC has pretty low ratings though that is why is was cheaper. I actually ran them in all news spots. Please keep us informed I like the commercial

Thanks Dave! Our Comcast Rep said it atleast takes 3 months to start getting a response...sure hope we get something out of it!!

Other businesses I spoke with indicated that there responses from the commercial came 1 to 3 months out and that by continuing to run the commericals they are getting results consistently. The key to TV advertising is not the station but the programming. People watch programs not stations. ABC is the only station locally that allows the business person to select the program the commercial will run on. The rest put you on what's called a rotator, hit and miss.
Given I am targeting the women of the house, they don't like the words mold, mildew, algae etc., the View is one of the most watched programs, even for those that don't like the program, kinda like a love/hate situation, but a large target viewing.
Again, I like your commerical, all the key action words and a great call to action. Hope you don't mind as I forwarded it to my TV rep. as an example of what I am looking for.

Thanks! We tried to pick various networks with programs that attract both men and women. That's what we figured..mold is a word that many people don't like, especially women. Not a problem, feel free to use it as you wish!
Well I will take that as a compilment Bob, we only ran it for 30 days or so on ABC , I think I will go to a media buyer this year and have them do it on cable. I have talked to other business around my area and they all say its better to go thru a media buyer rather than the network. they buy up all the time slots then sell according , I will try and keep people posted. I know a couple indiana roof cleaners that ONLY use media as there advertisment and they are so damn busy...
