I have spent a little time late tonight reading through all of the new guests and newest premium members. I would just like to extend a welcome to RCIA, I would have pm'd each of you but there is sooo many new ones here.
RCIA would like to see all of you post or put something out there that you may have a question about. I know the old saying is read, read and read some more. But many of the current members can help with some questions, Just PLEASE don't ask for the complete run down from A to Z. Everyone is here to help each other out and the newest members or guests do not be shy. We know your out there and want to hear from everyone.
Hi Kim, I have a question about prices,I live in Canada and I was wondering if anybody would any suggestions on what I should charge,I have been reading up on this topic and I have a good idea what I'm going to do,but any advice from the pro's would be great,so far I'm the only one doing this type of business in my area!
Nino, Pricing is varied and there are some members that have posted what they charge, but in general it is linked to your geography, My gathering is the northern cleaners are capable of charging more due to supply & demand. However to be fair to your clients, and build a solid reputation as well as longevity keep your pricing affordable and profitable. Kim R

Welcome to RCIA !!! Kim R
Yeah, I am giving myself one of these
thanks for the welcome Kim, there's definitely a lot of reading to keep us busy ... reading through countless material, i'd have to say that my favorite thread was the one where the guy asked how to carry a hose up a ladder ... i've had a million questions, fortunately that wasn't one of them, lol
Nino, Your pricing is mostly dictated by you and your own situation,..things like cost of SH,..what your living expenses are and how much of those expenses is your business supposed to account for. Everyones are different. I simply charge by what it's worth for me to do it and what I want to make from the particular job.
I never like the term business "expenses",..I prefer business "investments"
If you have business expenses,.you're doing something wrong and not charging enough.
You should only have business investments,..everything you spend on your business should be giving you a return.

I also "Echo" what Jeff says. Only you know what it will take to operate your Business & Make A Profit. The Profit part is the most important.
Set your price and stick with it. Do not be afraid to charge more. Learn how to sell on Quality & Professionalism.....NOT PRICE!!
Good Luck!!
