I recieved a call last week and did my first estimate of the year. I have yet to do any advertising this year but, at the end of last year, I threw apx 1500 post cards to targeted areas. This call was from a homeowner who saved the post card form last season. I am sure he is not the only person that held on to my post card thru the winter. i must say, I still think throwing postcards is a great way to drum up business without spending a ton of cash.  I have yet to receive any negative comments about throwing a bag with a rock and my post card! You can get 5000 full color cards on the internet @ gotprint.com for $115.00.  I have more baged up and ready to be delivered this week, as soon as the wind settles down! In addition, I am going to a meeting today to put an ad in our local Coupon Clipper magizine to cover a wider area. Good luck to you all in the 2011 season.
