The second pump moves SH from the storage tank to the mix tank. I think I will replace this with a FAT BOY with 1"
hose for faster transfer. The 4 way is my fresh water supply. I have a 50ft hose to connect to the home owners
water supply. the 4 connections are as follows.
1. fresh water supply to the mix tank (Plumbed in)
2. fresh water to force through the 5058 pump and 200' of 1/2" AG hose (Plumbed in)
3. fresh water to supply my 200' of 3/4" rinse hose on hose reel (Plumbed in for house wash rinsing)
4. fresh water hose to fill buckets etc. over the side of the truck.
I broke one of the 4 connections so I compensated with 3/4" ball valves and integrated the water feed to the mix
tank and the force through the 5850 pump.

Not us!!

With practice, patience, good surfacants and smaller pumps and hoses you can get almost zero runoff. roof cleaning

Really though the goal is the least amount of runoff if any. This also saves you money in materials as well.

That is why I truck mounted, so I can pull right up in the drive.
When I had my trailer setup, and parked out front in the street I needed
100' to connect my setup. I do have more hose to use if needed,
but being able to pull right in the drives is a big help. 50' of hose will get me
99% of the homes I am currently targeting. It's all about planning and putting
a system in place that works.

Thanks for the answer on the second pump. How long do you think it will last pumping strait SH? Is there any other way to move SH from tank to mix?

It will be rinsed with fresh water right after any transfer, so it should last for some time.

Chris, we had a flojet last over a year transfering chems without rinsing. What kind is it?

It's a High Flow 2 gpm pump from tractor supply. ($59)
I use to use it to spray decks with. I built
my own sprayer setup. I do not want to do wood anymore, to much work.
I used it all last year to transfer straight SH from the 55 gal drums into my tank.
I think I will replace with a FAT BOY with 1" hose for fast transfers.
I am sticking with the 5850's for my delivery of cleaner to the roofs though.

OK found some pics of my shop.
I set up a shop back in 2007/2008.
Here are pics of it going together. Did
some fab work, contract machining, design,
and programming for a local company.
I set up shop just for the work from this company.
When there was a change in managment, they
brought in their own venders, and my work dissappered.
I made my money from the work, and moved on.
My lease was up, so I down sized, sold some equipment,
and kept what I wanted. Just thought you guys would
like to see some shop pics. I always like to see shop
setups.

Here are some pics of the whole setup. I bought some nice wheel covers for
the truck, and within 3 days lost one, and then a second in a few more days.
I should have just given the $30 to charity, it would have been better spent....
Oh Well, Now I'm educated on that, and.... lesson learned. I am looking at some
nice but conservative wheels to have my tires mounted on, to "make the whole package"
After a wrap of course. We have some rain on it's way, so I dug up some Aluminum sheet
I had laying around, and made a quick "cover" to protect the pumps.
