Hello everyone, Thanks so much for all the well wishes and prayers. It is really appreciated from our family and Chris. Chris got hit doing 45-50, a lady just decided to make a last min. merge at 15 miles an hour. No reaction time to out maneuver. He is out of surgery, he had a compound fracture with w / 4 breaks in his right humerus and a hairline fracture in his left. The repair for his humerus is a plate about 4inches. All in all he is doing really well. The big concern for him now is a bone infection, the surgeon had to clean out dirt and debris out of the wound and bone. He had a race jacket on and zipped, with the hard protective pads in it, so this lady really rolled him to get dirt all the way in there. Thank God when he bought his bike he bought the best gear to match it, which more than likely saved him from death or a vegetative state. I am relieved for now , and the prayers are really needed as he is a watchmaker by trade and needs his arms and hands to make a living. Thanks everyone, Talk soon. Take Care, Kim R
We are praying for a Speedy recovery. Its good to hear the Gear worked.

I guess now is a good time for all of us to be more aware of our safety either driving or cleaning roofs. Things can change on a dime. He is feeling a little worse today, but to be expected. But he is young and strong. He weight trains and can't wait to get back up and working out.

I wish you and your son the best Kim. Who said that a motorcycle was cheap transportation. People just do not look for bikes. I am glad to hear that he was dressed right and I hope that everything turns out well.
