anybody here use citysearch mediagrid???? i'm a free member of CS but i got a phone call yesterday from a sales lady that was telling me what they offered. they do a pay per call type system or a flat fee based system. she was making it sound really good. told me within a 35mile radius of me there had been over 2500 searches for power washing, roof cleaning, auto detailing etc in the last 4 weeks. sounded high to me cause im in a rural area (hour from richmond and hour from fredericksburg). i told her to call me back monday and let me think on it some and i'd have some questions ready for her. its also no cost upfront. what do you guys think?? anybody use any systems like this or this one. thanks for any input.

Honestly, I tend to spend money on things that I know that I use myself. Citysearch is not one of them, but I have been seeing them a lot more since working on SEO. What's the cost going to be?

not sure of the cost yet. i was busy when she called so i told her to call me back monday. i think i can do ok on my own. unless she gives me some pretty assuring info i'm gonna go with no thanks.

update: citygrid left me a message and before i could get back to them MerchantCircle/Web.com called me and offered me:
free website with free domain. free services for 30 days from the date the website goes online. seo optimization search engine submissions, etc dunno, i'm thinking of going at it on my own. kinda a rural area here and alot of older folks not online. what do you guys think??
