Relevant Backlinks Ted, like this Roof Cleaning Forum that was the forerunner to what became the RCIA. I deliberately left this forum up, hoping it would help our roof cleaners one day with some decent link juice. It was kind of a wild and crazy place at one time, not for the faint of heart!

I miss those days Chris!  Back when it was just me, you, Larry, Spencer, and a few others.  No drama, no banning people & no politics.

I know Mike, I miss them too For a "forgotten forum" it still ranks pretty good. Heck, Larry actually has old posts from there showing up in his local search results!

Somehow, it got a page rank 2 from Google, and pretty much all on it's own too. I have done little SEO work on it, since all of us moved over here. People still find it in searches, call me, then I send them here.

 

This SEO is like a full time job Ted, glad you got me started..  lol

Drat.  Back to the top of page 2 again today.  LOL  Some additional Google promoted URLs pushed me back.

Then again, once of my RCIA posts and my MC account are both outperforming my site too LOL.  Otherwise my site would still be on page 1 for that main keyword string.

Mike (Gutterdog) - that franchise out of Fall Chuirch is dominating around here, along with Roofer 911.  Heck, even the guy from Hampton Roads is advertising up here now and he's what, 3 hours away?

he has a good blog going for him, and a dedicated URL.

Ted I set both domains on autoforward to my main address, took about 10 mins from start to finish for my yahoo account.

Chris I am sure it is not this easy so if you have any advice please do tell
