I was looking into Intruit and then Mike during the SEO Webinar Recommended Square at Squareup.com. I looked into them and it looks like support for Square is limited to email and Twitter.
GoPayment has 24/7 customer service available over the phone at no additional
charge!
Square has a $1k
weekly limit, and anything beyond the limit gets deposited in 30 days. GoPayment
has no preset weekly limit and most funds are deposited within 2-3 business days

Square is


2.75% + 15¢ for swiped transactions

3.5% + 15¢ for keyed-in transactions

Intuit is

1.7% + $.30
2.7% + $.30

That 30 day wait for deposit and the customer service makes my decision easy.

Those are pretty good rates.

We went through our bank and pay 3% +60cents and we have a $13 monthly fee. I actually think I can get the monthly fee waived If I would sign up online with them.

To take payments I call it in over the phone. Pretty easy. Deposits within a day or so.

Been taking CC's for a few years now.A very good decision.Many customers have made their decision to go with us because we take CC's so any costs in my book are made up in volume. We also do dial pay.Money is in the bank quickly

I will be setting my CC acct with my bank. I will use a special attachment for my Iphone that will let me swipe the card and be in my acct in 24 hrs. I can post cost breakdown if anyone wants to see it.

There is a one time set up fee of $69
Monthly Gateway Fee- $ 20
Credit Card Sleeve- $ 149.00 to swipe credit cards
Rates:
Check/debit cards- 1.39%+.15
Swiped- 1.80%+.15
Keyed- 2.39%+.15
Business/corporate- 3.19% +.15
Monthly Minimum (if applicable)- $25
I have also attached some info regarding the payware app.
Pay Ware is an Iphone app. Just Google it to see what it looks like

I take credit cards via Paypal.  Clients go to a page on my website that I direct them to in order to pay via Paypal, or via Credit Card.  (No Paypal account needed).

I had an out of state client yesterday and this worked well.  (She's in MD but has a rental property here in VA.)

It's easy and fairly reasonable (3% per transaction, no monthly fees).
