The word "Surrounding" is mis-spelled in your signature. I also agree with the other members, no politics or religion in advertising. Remember, your future customers may see these posts.

My feelings exactly. The POINT of the verse is to show that my name (reputation) is worth more than losing some money on a job. I hope future customers do read this post. It is my who I am. I dont hide it. But I'm still listening to opinions.

If that's who you are, we should all respect that, and I for 1 certainly do!
However, you asked a question and the best reply I can think of is also a bible quote

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

The question is, Is advertising for work, a time to quote scripture?

No matter how good you are in this business, every so often, things don't go just right [ either actually, or in a homeowners mind? ] and you can't make that customer happy. [ Or you don't know he is unhappy? ] At those times, I think it's best to be remembered as another roof cleaner, not a representative of the scriptures???

I know this post has been dead for a while but since someone else brought it back to the top, I had to say something. Rodney, I couldn't have put it better. Its funny how that works isn't it? I could be into satanic rituals or practice witchcraft and nobody would bat an eye. But the moment Christianity is brought up people always go all liberal- meaning every religion but "That One" is ok. No matter what your beliefs are you still shouldn't keep quiet in order not to offend someone!! That is our biggest problem in this country today!! We have all become sissified. So I hope you stuck with your slogan and didn't drop the scripture verse in fear of losing or offending a customer. After all the Lord can fill your nets a lot fuller than you can Jon P.S.- That was politics and religion for ya
