Rodney you'll do fine you already have a truck and a trailer plus you're getting 3 grand .Start out by running craigslist ads . Also your lucky to pick roofs... its one of the few things you can drive down the street and see if someone needs the service ..Think about this: as a electrician/repairman I cant see if something broken by looking at a house.

Also if your see a house for salethat has a dirty roof they would be a candidate for your service. its that curb appeal thingy..


One more thing that might help you,

 I had a commercial business hire me years ago, they had been in business since 1976 the reason they wanted their property cleaned ...They hired a photographer to shoot a picture of their business and sent it to their college Alumni Newspaper and realized how dirty it looked in the picture ...It had never been cleaned.


If your able to get people to see  the dirt .... you'll do okay... good luck
