The Grime Scene Forum was started by my old friend Beth Borrego. Her, Ron Musgraves, and I all go way back to the Old Delco (Now Delux Cleaning Systems) Board. The Grime Scene is a great forum just like this one, and PWI. Beth has done a LOT to further the cleaning industry. Not only will you learn some things there, but it is great SEO for your websites to fill out signatures, and post on The Grime Scene (TGS) and PWI as well. Here is The Grime Scene's Description
Welcome to The Grime Scene. Our forums are dedicated to networking and education for Contract Cleaning Professionals.
Within our forums you will find helpful information to help you learn and to grow your business. Information on networking events, seminars, round tables and conventions may be found here as well. Many of our users have developed professional networking relationships and refer each other work, or work together on projects. Leads for jobs are often shared within the community as well.
We welcome DIY'ers to post in our DIY area. Please be respectful of our contractor users, some will share, others may not, and many work long days and limit their time online. Some forums are hidden from view and will only be seen by registered users, but not by Guests. Please also remember that all users are required to provide their information as professionals, to accept the forum rules, and to fill out the signature area when they register.

Signed up yesterday Chris....Looks like a pretty good forum
It IS !!!!!!! Go through some OLD roof cleaning threads there, lot's of information, some obsolete, but some still valid as the day it was posted!
A " Favorite SEO TRICK" of mine is to REVIVE old forgotten threads on both The Grime Scene and PWI !!!!!!!!
These old threads are OLD URL'S, and better backlinks for those smart enough to revive them. Plus, the forum owners really appreciate it too, because it also helps THEIR SEO !!
Look for ONLY the most posted in old threads, forget the ones with under 15 posts.
My old friend Beth from TGS is ANAL about filling out signatures, so be warned :)
This is for your own benefit to fill out your signature on TGS, or any other forum. She is only trying to HELP you, not be a "bitch" as a few ignorant people have said about her.

I have been visiting these sites for a few years now. As Chris Tucker from Apple Roof Cleaning in Tampa Florida said, there is a wealth of information on Roof Cleaning in both forums. Bob from Pressure Tek has a great forum with many great people there, as well as Roof cleaning information and equipment.

Absolutely they should post on PWI. What we are looking for is more knowledge, and RELEVANT backlinks, if we are roof cleaners. One will notice when I go over to The Grime Scen, or PWI, I "confine myself" mainly to the roof cleaning forums ? This is because my interests and knowledge are roof cleaning related, though I know a little about SEO. I avoid the Mindless Blabbering on PWI and The Clubhouse on The Grime Scene, usually. The roof cleaning forums provide me a RELEVANT backlink, so this is where I spend my time. Now, if you are also a pressure washer as well as a roof cleaner, it is a different story! BOTH PWI and TGS are more pressure washer oriented then RCIA, and will thus provide a little better Pressure Washing Link. But if u are a roof cleaner, RCIA is Google's top ranked roof cleaning forum. The main keywords we target at RCIA are non + pressure + roof + cleaning, so if pressure and cleaning are some of your keywords, you will do well posting here for them as well.
Thanks for the Kudos Chris..... we appreciate them. The Grime Scene has been around for many years, and many folks login daily. It covers a wide variety of topics and is well worth the price of a free registration and a bookmark in your favorites list.
Additionally, we have lots of features, such as a blog (of course), photo gallery, business link directory, and more.

You are very correct about the signature and be carefull about mentioning bleach and wood in the same sentance. Could get ugly.

LOL, well, they are woodies over at TGS, and they are the wood experts. I am not a Woodie, but I have been told there are better things to use on wood then bleach, like some kind of Acid maybe ?
The Grime Scene and RCIA were the 1st 2 sites I joined, after learning to use a computer-at an old age of like 55 I have lost my original and a couple of other passwords at TGS a number of times and just re-signed up. Probably a mistake. I would have like 15 years seniority and loads of posts, had I not kept starting out fresh!

Yes, The Grime Scene was a good forum, but like all Industry forums, including this one, Facebook has killed them :( From an SEO standpoint, it is far better to post on a forum vs Facebook.
