My hose is currently wrapped around it. I dont want to pull off 200' of hose. But running the outlet parallel to the core of the reel will eliminate the loop.
One other thing, maybe these reels don't have an adjustable outlet and they're fixed in place. The reel I use is one I made. I made one because I wanted a very serviceable reel and one that has readily available parts.

Pretty is, as Pretty does. My roof cleaning trucks are Fugly now, but started out all shiny and pretty. Many are surprised who come to Tampa to visit me that my trucks all look like Rust Buckets. Rust is THE sign of a busy roof cleaning truck.
Ha,Ha,.. Yea Chris,..I'm convinced anything can be made with a cutting tool, grinder and a welder and a pile of steel. It actually looks pretty good,..It stays painted really well,...preventing leaks instead of fixing them is the key.
I'm really fussy when it comes to the "form follows function" rule. I figured I could make a reel that was designed purposely to be easily serviceable.

I hear ya brother! Kohler's are kind of Ugly Motors, but they make torque at LOWER RPM's then Honda's. My Rol Air and Bel Air Air Compressors look like the old master cylinder from Felix The Cat!
It was really nice to talk with Bob again! FEW people on the planet have as much passion for roof cleaning equipment as him and I. Persoanally, I prefer Ford Trucks, had much trouble with General Motors. But some swear by them, and hate Fords ? Same with roof cleaning pumps, especially the Udor's. My friend Mike Kreisle has had one work flawlessly over a year,, mine failed within months! The old Bleach Bandit Roller Pumps are no longer made, but Bob still has some running in the field! As Bob pointed out to me, you can get a good pump, or a bad one, depending on the day it was made! We also talked about if he came out with a new roof cleaning pump, we will call it the "Bleach Bastard" LOL! I told him I thought his old Bobcat Roof Cleaning Pump was the chit, and a clever design. he told me he had to stop making them because of liability issues. We also talked about how LITLE money there is per unit of sale in roof and pressure washing equipment! I THOUGHT Bob made a grand or 2 on sales of hot water skids ? he said "I freaking WISH". Really, we as roof cleaners make thousands off a roof cleaning pump, yet we beat up on our suppliers to take away their small profit margins. Kind of sad, because IF they go out of business, who are we gonna get to service us ?
I thought I felt the earth stop spinning on its axis for a minute! :p
Tatally. It is good to see these two entities unite!!
Chris what you said about vendor profit is so true. We are all in business and should respect a vendors right to charge for profit, just as we do in cleaning.
Chris, As true is your statement is on profit margins being squeezed, contractors also feel the crunch of competitors that sell on price alone also.
You are do right, we all feel it. Guys fish on the piers down here who don't know how to fish. They start tossing lines in the water with 2 and 3 oz sinkers that only scare the fish. They soon leave, but spoil the fishing for everyone. Once the fish are spooked, they take months to return. Once customers get a low price, it becomes the NEW price, though the hacks are long gone from the roof cleaning business.
