I had a nice conversation with Bob from Pressure Tek today, about 2 hours worth! It was really nice talking to someone as, or even more passionate about roof cleaning equipment as myself. He sent me this fix for Titan Hose Reels I want to share with everyone.
I use these clamps also Chris,..they work great for keeping the hose from kinking. I go one step further also,.instead of pointing the connection against the reel,...I turn it sideways so it runs straight across the core of the reel holding it down with these clamps,..and then turn it into the winding direction.
Also putting a peice of heavy walled hose over where it connects to the reel will prevent it from being crushed when winding the hose on.

Hey Bob great to see you here. I wanted to thank you again for all your help this past season. That accumulator tank worked great on those last few roofs of the season.
Ya, the accumulator tank let's you run a 12 volt like an air pump to restrict your flow when needed. I do appreciate the business I get from this board.
I'm glad to see you here at the RCIA as well Bob. The set up I purchased from PressureTek last year has worked flawlessly. I'll be placing another order in late winter.

Tell Andy we said hey.
Will do. He's going in for hip replacement in the next few weeks. I have to start the first of the season without him. Hope he recovers fast!
Thank you for the excellent service these past years. You guys are awesome!!! 2011 is going to be even better for us, so you will be hearing from me more often. Ya gotta get a good surfactant for the roof mix. Then I will have a one stop shop minus the SH of course. Lol.
My hose is currently wrapped around it. I dont want to pull off 200' of hose. But running the outlet parallel to the core of the reel will eliminate the loop.
One other thing, maybe these reels don't have an adjustable outlet and they're fixed in place. The reel I use is one I made. I made one because I wanted a very serviceable reel and one that has readily available parts.
