I like the 50 points. Have a few suggestions. Items 28 and 29. 28 talks about the use of TSP.
and then 29 says members pledge to use chemicals that are environmentally responsible.
It is proven that TSP is very bad for our fresh water fisheries, frogs, turtles, ect. How about if the RCIA really takes the lead, shows that it has hight standards, and advises against the use of TSP ? I know some of you guys use it, and it is legal in your areas, but up here in Michigan, in the areas I work, it is against the law. And soon will be in most of the state.. I think it would show that the RCIA really does care about the environment if it stood out in front of this, instead of waiting for the gov to tell us not to use it. 43. the use of " Personal Safety Euipment" PSE.
I think this needs to be changed to Personal Protective Equipment, PPE. Just to keep it the same as to what all the other industries that deal with safety call it. In all the training I take working in a chemical factory, it is PPE and PPE training. Just my thoughts, other than that, it looks great. Great work guys. This will really help our industry.

Side note.. Do not change the lines about respirators. I know what this stuff can do, you might not see it for a few years, but it can kill you. It acts as a de-sencitizer. You won't even know it, but sometime down the road, you will come in contact with something that will send you over the edge, and that it, it's lights out. I watched a man die because being de-sencitized to a chemical.
He walked through an area of the plant that had a low concentration of fumes, and his lungs swelled shut. He was dead within 10 minutes. It was a terrible thing to see. PLEASE wear a respirator everytime you are near chemicals.
