In my first post, after reading about the products, I went to find the web site. I was a bit disappointed in what I found. No product information, other than we are better. The web site was lacking for a site that was supposed to be supported by multiple offices in the US.

Therefore, the normal questions took over, who, what, when, where and why, hence my doing more in depth research as to who you were or not. This is a tough crowd the RCIA, we do not normally just believe that a product is the best thing since peanut butter, grape jelly and white bread. We have questions, some easy, some very tough and others that will make you really sweat.

There are many members on the board that have much more experience in the various chemical combinations that have been tried, tested, passed and others that have failed miserably. Some may comment, others may say, just another Green product, to be used with a PW, not that PW's are bad. They are not, they have there own nitch, just as non pressure roof cleaning. We have many members who are very successful PW companies and also non pressure cleaners as a part of their business.

I think that what we the RCIA members are asking is give us some information as to why, your product is "the mythical clean all, do all, save the world, Green savior". Don't just post and go, not to be heard from again. It's like trying to spit off the Golden Gate bridge, no matter where you stand it will blow back on you.

From what I can see they are not selling this product, they are using it as a contractor. Kinda looks like they branded a solution they use in house.

All one has to do is look at his website, which is exactly what he wanted us to do, so he can get link backs. How many fell for that trick? He is NOT selling the product, he is promoting his services. Ever wonder why a competitor with a different product comes and posts on the most searched roof cleaning forum in the world?? Come on guys, open your eyes and quit all the nonsense about him being mis-treated. He's here for one reason and one reason only. To promote his company and try and lure customers away from RCIA members with the "magicial green product". If he had such a product why is he afraid to defend it? Links, Links, and more links is what this is all about. And maybe he can try and sue somebody in the process for him being mis-treated. Open your eyes, please.

Jeff I just would of liked to here what the man had to say. There is nothing wrong with learning a different approach to roof cleaning. So what if his system cost more. That's what $ales is about. It's also what separates the men from the boys. I will take a product with a $ales pitch any day of the week and make more money with it! I'm going to work and I'm done with this one. I will be outside Freezing my Azz off all day.

Yes Mr.O,..I agree,..thats why I posted my original question as to how it's used and it's cost effectiveness,...I basically was asking him to give us reasons why it would benefit us.

My questions to him weren't sarcastic.

I've actually done ALOT of testing and experimenting over the years,..so I am definitely not adverse to change,...but it has to be viable.

Until SH is banned,..it will continue to be the gold standard for roof cleaning,..not because of cost,..but because of performance.

I have read this over and over and not once was this guy "beat up", "hammered", "attacked" or someone lurking around the corner for an attack.

If someone posts with any product that will save the world and be the best roof cleaning product since "peanut butter, grape jelly and white bread," shouldn't we be asking questions? All he had to do was answer some simple questions. I actually think this was mild and respectful. Pretty simple, tell us why it's so great. Are we just supposed to say, hey, great, I'll buy 500.00 worth of this great product? I don't think so!

Brett is 100% correct. Whether this guy is selling the product or not when you come on here and make statements you had better be able to back them up. Anyone and especially vendors should be held accountable to back up their claims and when they can't do that, then in my opinion they should be given no quarter.

I talked to Joe on the phone the other day, Nice guy, Joe is TRYING to sell his system for $12500. 00. with that you get his licence to use his algaecide, and his equipment. you will have an exclusive territory, the second yr , it will cost you another $12000.00 for the licence and the ability to use his product which if I remember correct is 40.00 per gallon, you mix it 5-1 or 9-1 . this will make approx 10 gallons and clean up to 2500 sq ft. ( I have a hard time believing that). the 3rd yr, no membership and you keep your territory and have the right to purchase his chems. he is applying this product just as we do,

He has a lot of knowlege, and said has a chemistry background...

Joe also stated he has 3 offices in flordia and that the office he was talking out of did 1.3 million last yr. Joe also stated that with this product, you will out sell any one in your territory just for the fact that its a citra.

said it works great on all roofing systems , especially moss, lichen, but when it comes down to Gm which has 27 roots compared to moss that only has 2 roots, that it will take more citra to clean it, that Gm is the hardest to remove and that you might have to return and give a second coat.. his product attackes the roots of Gm , moss and Lichen.

I might not be totally correct on all that. but that is some of what I remember from our conversation

RCIA can be a tough place to be selling stuff, especially if it does not work.

Problem you're going to have is you're not selling a commonly known franchise,..it's not like potential customers will look at your name like McDonalds or 7-Eleven and know the name in an instant. I've always thought that about R**f Sh***oo and any of the other roof cleaning franchises,.. most of the general public is just not aware of these as anything but another local small business name,..simply because there aren't that many of them that are preffered by customers. I think it is the people who haven't researched enough that get into these franchises.

Not sure what concoction you're using,..but to pay $12,500 to use it,..without any recognizable name to stand behind,... no nationally recognized commercials or branding,...it better offer MANY benefits over our current method.

Really doesn't get much easier or safe,..with "as expected results",.. than what we do now.

Why don't you sell the product instead?,..Seems like it would hit a wider customer base.

I just watched a couple videos on YouTube,..not real impressed with hearing the product will remove the problem over time. There may be a market for delayed results somewhere,..but most here I think will agree,..isn't anywhere they work. Most customers want it clean NOW!!

If this video helps those guys in any way,..just remove it.

1:00 minute mark tells all.

And another videos shows a guy scrubbing what looks like a rubber roof with a brush.
