Hope you were able to still read the posts while you were unable to login... If not, then ya, there is a lot you missed. Glad to see you're able to login again!

All I know is that I wasn't able to log in or read any posts for the last few months. If I wasn't banned,..it sure felt like I was.
I was actually going to log in from another IP address,..but changed my mind.
Periodically I would try and log on but it never worked until yesterday. I hadn't tried for about a week.

As has been asked from the start of this post and elasewhere by many... it would be a good thing to find out what really happened with your "banning" or inability to log in. I have my ideas as way too much point in that direction.
Well when I heard about it a couple days ago, I called Chris and we could not find his IP on the list of banned IP's. As far as we can tell from me and the others able to see it, if a members IP gets banned than the mods cannot undo it, only a Sparklit rep or Chris can. Also if an IP gets banned that IP can still read all the public sections. If an account gets deleted it would no longer be visible to the users and that was not the case either. Once again only Chris can undelete an account. So for everyone that wants to think they have answers, now that you have the info on how it works can guess again. No moderator banned Jeff, or Chris would have had to unban him. We looked into this and the answer has to be either that the forum was down at the time Jeff tried, or there was another issue, but we did investigate it and the BOD did not do it.
If anyone ever has a problem with their account please contact one of us. If a director were to ban an account without going through the procedure that would be a serious issue to us.
Clyde to answer your question, we probably would inform you. Not sure if we wrote it as a requirement in the rules, I would have to go look it over.
