They were sent, some people may have them already. The type of shipping we used is slow and process was a pita. Here is why:

This isn't something we can just grab and ship, We had to establish a relationship and accounts to find out the best price and guaranteed delivery. Things had to be negotiated.

• If we get 500 members this year and sent each pack flat rate shipping then it will cost over $6,000 so we made sure we absolutely had the best possible setup so we can get better stuff next time.
• There are even requirements for shipping labels, you have to outsource the shipping labels(not allowed to  hand write, so had to find best pricing and compatible labels for this program
  • Then you have to redo the entire lists and deal with their incompetent workers and automated answering services
• Then shop around for special boxes allowed for this PROFIT/NON PROFIT MEMBERSHIP shipping which they don't tell you about in the first place because your label company was supposed to sell you boxes and they are 1.75/box and that waaaay too epenSIVE!!!!!!GRRRRRRR
• All because its some secret shipping that isn't advertised or known about unless you find it buy accident and then somehow by the grace of the Lord find other people who know remotely anything related to the subject and just yell at them day in and day out until it ships!!!!!!!
• All the while the company assisting us is also freaking out and the main guy slips on ice shatters his fibia and tibia, and there is no way i was letting his work go in vein and the let idots we are dealing with win, so I press on solo and drive to West Philly for cheap boxes instead of shipping them because that would cost too much and then me and the PP team rebox everything because we were lied to in writing none the less!!!!!!!
• Then relabel them, take them to shipping and wait as fast as I can.

So yeah they're mailed.  And now that the initial aggravation is over everything should basically run itself from here on out in regards to that.

So this is what the guy said:

"They need to fill up these "trucks" with enough packages for Profit/Non Proft Shipping, should be about 7 business days but it's kindof a busy time to ship" are the exact words the guy told me, he said they are last priority; and ofcourse, it was ChristmaHanaKwanza the busiest shipping time of year, so when they get there they get there. They will be there soon that is all I can say.

I can ask the guy again if you would like because he is tied up in a pit in my basement with the rest of the people that suck at their jobs. I will let them go after the last package has been delivered.

And yes we could have done things differently but this was the best solution to keeping our cost down so we can all benefit from this, and ofcourse I tried Santa and he said, "Jerr half these guys are on the naughty list man, Reindeer food doesn't grow on trees, 6.50 per box." And he is a business man too so I had to understand and not go with him.

I now understand why it is taking so long to get these packages.....


When I got home today, there was a 3 legged donkey laying in my driveway, loaded up with a bunch of packages on his back. Turns out he had my RCIA member package with him. It took me a little while to figure out what was going on because the damn thing kept trying to bite me when I reached for the package. Snow is not a 3 legged donkey's friend!
