I work hard behind the scenes for the excellent SEO this forum enjoys. I do not intentionally wish any regular poster here to be deprived of the work opportunities our directory provides.
But honest to God, you do NOT have to post a promotional thread JUST in the certified directory for Google to find it!
For instance, you can make a post titled "roof cleaning wilmington NC" in the shingle roof cleaning forum for instance. Just be sure to use Tags, and write with keywords ?

something like - Here is a shingle roof in wilmington nc that was cleaned by roof stain removers. roof stain removers uses a safe, non pressure cleaning process to clean roofs in the wilmington, ashville, and charlotte, NC area.

Guys, we have a few bugs to work out with certification and the standards. Until then, have at it with promotional posts! TRY to make them educational, like I used the new roof cleaning pump or Apple Butter Surfactant I got from Lori at Pressure Washer Products, and it only took 1/2 the usual amount, so I passed the saving on to my wilmington roof cleaning customer. I may even do a free webinar for members on HOW to write for best SEO in your promotional posts.
Guys, I have been SICK with undiagnosed diabetes the past 18 months, perhaps longer. I have not "abandoned" you guys, or this Forum.

I think the one thing Art and I agree on is not only the excellent SEO this forum enjoys is a big part of things, it would be nice (if we met the old standard from 2010) to be able to list in the state area of the forum where some have listed that are guests. We just came at the wrong time and understand that... to a point.

Yes, everyone here is in on the ground floor of roof cleaning, so to speak.
My 2 main objectives when I started this forum were

1 - teach what I know about roof cleaning.
2 - help those I or others here taught get roof cleaning work with earned certification, and a high ranking forum.

Plenty are helping feed their families from the roof cleaning work they get off this forum.
Think about it, you are a customer, searching for roof cleaning. You see all the websites and roof cleaning advertisements, but wait a minute. All of the sudden up pops a thread from a forum dedicated to roof cleaning, and lo and behold you just found a roof cleaning expert in fairfax, VA who posts on that roof cleaning forum.
You read the thread, and find other roof cleaners respect this guy, and are asking him questions. Who are ya gonna call

I can tell you the sooner you post them the sooner they will help you. They will always keep coming up. The more you have out there the better it will do for you.

The SEO that Chris works so hard on does work!! Trust me, I have spoke to Chris on this subject before and he is right! Just make sure to use the keywords that will get you found.

Look at the Florida area, I am like a posting whore! (Guilty again!)This is because I am not in the Major cities, I am more rual so to speak. Dont forget to get on Google and Merchant circle as well...there are a ton of these things there for you.

We are working hard on getting the Certification rectified so that we can start the Certification again!
