I take the harness that I posted and wire that to the battery, then I plug the other end into the receptacle on the towing package on the truck. That automatically charges the battery anytime the truck is running.

Same here! I have NEVER had to charge my battery yet and it's been well over a year now.

You should know. It is the exact same thing you won at the Tampa show.
Scott mentioned connecting the trailer plug right to the battery for instant charging. If you're not good at wiring they make wiring "T"'s now that just plug into the factory wiring harness. (see attached image) Most of the go just under the rear of the truck, just unplug the harness and insert the "T". Really easy now a days...
edit... You can buy these at just about any parts store!
