I never had any luck with this type of advertising, and 1/2 the time they did not DO what they said, but billed me anyway. They are still waiting for payment roof cleaning

I heard someone talking about doing this and they said it bombed pretty bad for them. As in 0 calls.

I DID have great luck advertising in toilet stalls

Seriously though, there was a company here in Tampa that did offer bathroom advertising in the toilet stalls, and we did a trade for it.

We got, and still have a property manager from it!

I don't know about you guys, but I like to read when on the toilet, I figured others do too. Like most roof cleaners, even my farts are corrosive (Porcelin has an A Rating for corrosive gas) No wonder why my laptops hard drive kept crashing

Newspapers are noisy (just ask Pee Wee Herman), and if someone is waiting for your seat on the throne, they get mighty upset when they hear them.

Usually, in a public bathroom, if someone knocks on my stall, I smell so much like bleach they think I am the janitor roof cleaning

We advertised at golf courses twice. on scoring cards and signage posted at various locations. NOTHING! Not one call! Not saying it wouldn't work for you!

Another waste of money was advertising on Church handouts. People go to church to socalize, worship God, and read Bibles.
Here is the botom line.
IF you already have a market for roof cleaning, you want to advertise where people will look for you, like the Internet.

If you do NOT have a market for roof cleaning, then you must make one.

TV Stations in your area are always looking for "News", so Imagine something like this.

"See a Dead Roof Brought Back To Life Again, details at Noon"

I have had calls to advertise on diner " paper place mats " I didn't think that was a good idea..............

I do diner placemats. Its ok. Diners near churches are good cuz everyone eats afterwards. Monday's a busy phone day at Thompson during the season.

also try working with ROTC groups they have large network families. I going to do auction were all the money goes to the kids that will get my name out in front about 100 families or more.

Thanks for all teh responses. I think, from what everyone is saying, I am going to pass on this, and stick with what I am doing. Fliers, website, working with realtors, and home inspectors. Seems to be working good for me.
