I'm cleaning a large colonial for my virgin run. I sprayed from the gutter line using Apple Cider Sauce.
15 gallons 12.5 SH 25 gallons water 5 lbs TSP mixed the night before 64 oz isopropyl alcohol
At the site I mixed the TSP and isopropyl in the Mix. I came back a week later after a rain storm as I did not rinse the roof. The roof was noticeably much cleaner and brighter. However the black mold is still there and since the background roof is cleaner the black mold streaks are more pronounced. Any suggestions for round 2

Charlie you have been a member for over a year and this is your first cleaning? You need to fill out your profile a little better so we know who we are talking too!
It sounds like you didn't have enough dwell time for the mix to oxidize the stains completly. Maybe try substituting the tsp for 1/2 bottle of dawn...mix on site like normal. Just don't use antibacterial cause it will gas up...

I had similar issues with a supplier I was using for SH. As the weather got colder, the SH my supplier was selling me was getting even weaker. I was respraying every time. I'd check to make sure your SH is not weakened.

Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing in Anne Arundel County, and Howard County, Maryland
Thanks for the input guys. I first stated on this site a year ago only to find out more about roof cleaning, back then I was told by a contractor that the black lines on my roof were the result of the sand washing off and the asphalt showing through. The contractor was unaware that I had replaced the roof 9 years earlier after getting the same story. Armed with a garden hose and chemical sprayer for trees, I experimented with many bad chemicals until I found this site. I finally bit the bullet in September this year, built a rig and started experimenting on friends houses. I plan to start my LLC in March. I'll update my profile tonight. Thanks for the input. Also I did have a bottle of dawn in the mix. I found the box the SH came in, the mix date was 9/2, I sprayed on 11/15.
