really? I have a open trailer dual axel and I get complimented on every job or estimate i go on about how nice of a set up i have and people always tell me its the best or most professional set up or trailer they have seen( as far as powerwashing or roof cleaning goes).

 To keep this thread on track here it goes: 1) an open trailer is easy to work on and everything is very accessable. You can put signage on the back and sides. Also if you have a hot water skid you do not have to worry about venting it out through a stack.

2) an enclosed trailer will keep everything out of the weather and yes you are able to make it a rolling billboard. But in the same thought you can make your truck a rolling billboard, with a great looking piece of equipment behind you.

I think it is just a matter of prefrence what you feel will work for you.

A titan hose reel is a good reel as long as you rinse it out and keep some swivel packings with you.

Some guys are in a stage where a truck mounted rig isnt an option.

My preference is an open trailer.
You can still put signage on it.
You dont hit your head when walking in the back door! Im tall. lol
Customers can see what you are working with.

I do like an enclosed trailer for the rolling billboard idea
and theifs cant see what you are working with BUT they can cut padlocks and take what youve got anyways. Ive had 6k in tools stolen from an enclosed trailer before.

I also disagree with pulling a trailer not looking professional. Yeah, if you pull up in an S10 or suburban pulling a little 4wheeler trailer youre gonna look like a start up or do it yourselfer.
BUT if you pull up in a 3/4 ton work truck pulling a big bad a@@ trailer full of cool toys you look like you know what youre doing. (I do like the truck idea though and will wind up with one myself before too long)

With enclosed trailer, ventilation, and lots of it is a must. Great rolling billboard !!

 Been a ton of controversy on trailers vs. flatbeds.
  I actually like the trailer.  The other day I got to a job, had hoses pulled out,ladder set up  and low and behold I forgot my camera. I was only a few miles from home, so I unhooked trailer and away I went. Just one of the conveniences if you need parts,etc. or if you forget something

Chlorine wants to be released as a gas from the SH, so an enclosed trailer is more at risk for corrosion. Hence the vents people are suggesting.
