Here is a Church Roof Cleaning we did once in Sun City Center, Florida As you can see, the roof of this Church went up almost VERTICALLY.
We had to "dig into our bag of tricks", and emulsify the Apple Sauce.
It was explained to the Pastor of this Sun City Center Florida Church that the thickened roof cleaning mix would take a rain or two to look it's very best.
He is OK with that.
My good friend Larry from All Surface Pressure Cleaning in Largo Florida came by, and did some spraying. Kasey from Brooks Pressure Washing in Spring Hill Florida wanted to come and see how we do things, but his wife took his truck.
As can be seen, this Church roof had mold 2 to 3 inches THICK on the north side.
It took two to 3 sprays before we were happy with it.
My friend Larry got up on the roof with us. He was down in Sun City Center that very day, doing some roof cleaning work himself!
This Florida Commercial Roof Cleaning job was completed in 5 hours we drank Gatorade, and talked for an hour of that, and took some pictures.
We used almost 300 gallons of modified Apple Sauce Roof Cleaning Chemical.
LOOK at that modified Apple Sauce cling ? See it turn white ??
Ive got 3 bottles of that "Emulsifier" in the shop just WAITING to be used on a vertical roof like that!

That's Great Scott, it is not an option IMHO on almost vertical roofs. The Pastor at this Florida Church wanted a good roof cleaning job, but Church's in Florida are hurting financially like everyone else right now. We had to keep the roof cleaning chemical cost down, and the Emulsifier really helped with that. Of course, it took a good rain to wash all that surfactant from the roof. LOL, Larry was there, and we tried to rinse it for over 2 hours! No way Proof Positive that no one can rinse a roof like GOD
I have a church roof exactly like that one lined up for soon I'm going to need some emulsifier. This will be my first job for charity we will see how it goes
I'm still trying to give a roof wash away at a VFW. VFW's, American legions, (I'm a member), Knights of Columbus (member too), Churches. Seem to be dying. I guess like the Yellow book. These were great places to network when I was a kid. I heard and can tell.
you would think if you offered the legion a free wash they would take it.
Yea you would think? VFW, not leigion, same thing kinda! I'm gonna try 1 more time. I may have a friend at Knights that is a member there too? These are people in the 60's plus. So scared of something new.
Chris, fix them pictures. Lol. Those were some great photos. I remember it like it was yesterday. That shingle roof was nasty and turned out looking brand new after the cleaning. I bet it still looks great.

Hey Donnie, a cold beer sounds real good right now (we are off work for the weekend)
You guys can get FRESH (not skunked) Rolling Rock up in Pa we can only dream about, here in Tampa.
Things some take for granted, like GOOD Kielbasa and Pierogi's and not to be found down here
Even Pigs In a Blanket are not to be found in any restaurant down here.
