This truck kicks but for us. I do like the udor pump it has worked with no problems since we got it may 10th. We have done over 300 jobs with it and we have it hooked up to a 3 way valve so we can wash it out after each job. We also have the 5gal. John blue on another truck and 3 fat boys on other trucks. I do like the Udor the best. We also have 3 power washing machines on the truck, 2-5 gal. and 1-10 gal. machine. It has 550 gal. water tank 150 Love tank and a 50 gal. tank for the roof mix. We also have a couple 15 gal. tanks for house wash and other stuff.
Thanks for the info on the udor pump, I have been looking at one of those my self, mainly to use for fresh water rinsing on houses, but also a back up for roof cleaning if my air pump go's out. My son works with me now so we just use the water at the homes to rinse with fresh water when I pressure wash a house with my heated machine on low pressure since we do not rinse the roofs , I have had issues with water pressure not to go so that udor pump would work out really good, 300 jobs since May 10th and no problems, huh, nice, think that might be an investment to check into.
The majority are using AOD pumps or 12 volt pumps. As you know the 12v are cheap to replace. It almost makes them a consumable item. The AOD pumps are made of Kynar and are supposed to last longer than any pump on the market.
Michael Krisle uses the Udor I think?

but its illegal to drive around with more than 100 gals of SH?? I love all you guys with pictures advertising illegal transportation of chemicals.
How do you have any idea how much SH he drives around with in his tanks? How do you know he doesn't take 100 gallons of SH in one tank and use it to mix his other tanks on site?
Is it "illegal" to carry more than 100 gallons of SH like you say, or do you just need special training and placarding to carry larger quantities? How do you think my bulk supplier delivers to me? He delivers it in a truck that holds about 1000 gallons? Is he doing something illegal? If you really want to be technical, the regulation stipulates weight (lbs) not gallons.
What does your set up look like? Can you show us pictures of your tanks?
If I remember correctly, you have been asking some elementary questions. Are you really criticizing someone with a very professional set up that you could potentially learn something from? You may not know this, but Rolling Suds has a larger business than most people on this board. Just because you have more posts than him doesn't mean you know more. That post is not real conducive to learning.
Sorry for the rant guys. I'm just a little frustrated with posts like this that seem to keep showing up lately.

Hey Brian, Thanks. It does make you think why should you show anything when you have someone that wants to turn it into a negative. My guy delivers 300-500 gal. of love every week in a truck that holds 2,000 galons, it is great they have a key to my shop and we do not need to worry about getting it. We then pump it into the trucks, we get it for 2.12 a gal. this way and it saves on time and money.
I love seeing pics of the bigger trucks and shops etc. How do you keep rolling in PA? Temps and all. I'm right below ya here in DC area. I heard some where with hot water you can warm the roof? I havent got a call in a week to wash anything just gutter cleaning now?
Your right!! I do not know how much he is carrying around with him. I just assumed why would you have a 150 gallon tank if your not filling it up, then he would have a 100 gallon tank and save himself the extra space and money buying a bigger tank, obviously. No its not illegal to carry more than 100 gallons if you have a CDL and all the permitting, placards, but I am guessing that the majority of guys here running around with their trailers dont have CDL's and the appropriate placards on all the tanks. I didnt see the appropriate placards on his rig, so that is why I asked the question. You are correct I am new to this business, but have spent 2 months reading every post and getting involved. How did you start? I bet you asked all the right questions? Thats what this site promotes, education. How do you educate? I read something and when I dont know the answer, I ask a question.
I was not critisizing at all, I just asked a question, to learn. I thought he knew something I didnt, maybe he was going to tell me in his state there are different regulations. So before you fly off the handle and start making accusations about me or the questions I am asking why dont you focus your energy on something productive. I am working on starting my business and I am asking questions. When I see someone doing something different then I am, I ask why and how did you do it.
I dont think you represent the cuture of this board very well by attacking me for asking a simple question.
I am attaching the RCIA to my name and my company and as a members of the RCIA that makes us associates. It reflects very poorly on the RCIA if there are guys on the road that are not following state and federal regulations. One cowboy RCIA member can ruin this organizations reputation and shows over for everyone. Self governance is the best way. The more people that get into this business and more people running around with tanks of Chlorine on the back of their trucks, the more oversight there is going to be by your environmental agencies and DOT. Developing an industry standard for us all to follow will strengthen the RCIA reputation and brand.
Also, I dont even look at how many posts I have or anyone else, it says nothing about your qualifications to clean a roof or ability to build a business.
Any other concerns about my posts I am happy to discuss on the board or privately by phone. I think it will be a good conversation. I am here to start a business not critisize anyone, I hope you can understand that I was looking out for the best interest of everyone here.
Nice rig RSUDS, its sweet, way sweeter than mine.....you win.
I agree with Brian, Your post seemed to attack them. Like brian said they probably were not doing anything wrong. I haul 300 gallons from my supplier to my shop at least once or twice a month. Is that illegal? Trust me if it was my supplier would not let me do it. Yes I have to put placards on my van and that's it. Just whatch how you post and you will be fine. We have a lot of new guys acting like they know more than the veterans.
Its only a fine, no sweat. I was just going off of what I read elsewhere on the site. I did not intend to come across attacking and I apologize. Its covered here....
