Whats the Big Deal you guys act like its a competition??? Seriously I have had enough of the BS I am not here to break any records so stop all the BITCHING
Dude you have been a member for almost a year and only posted 150 post the other guy 30 post you guys use the site for info but don't give anything back thats hilarious How about you contribute instead of criticize
Thats because I am not qualified enough to give back to this forum yet. Still learning this trade. Im not going to post info I am not qualified to post. Qualified meaning I havent tried it out in a real world application such as cleaning roofs, bidding, building rigs, advertising, etc. As for the 30 posts. Well, I read more than I post.
None ever said "BRO" was disrespectful I'm a very respectable person but when you come targeting me for post that doesn't seem very grown does it???Just Saying I'm in business to make money sir and Roof Cleaning is what I found as a chance to succeed before it becomes like the Lawn Care industry =] =] =]
Okay. I am cool with that. Personally I haven't read your posts. Just talking about the forum in general. Thre is great opportunity in this business. People here in Iowa didn't even know you could clean a roof. I have had to really dig in and research as there is a big education hurdle to mount. Don't know about your location, but be prepared to do alot of explaining to customers.
I like the reading part over posting part. Been there done that. RCIA can give you the tools, you'll find that you will have to make it work.
RCIA is a education and roof cleaning development business forum.
For social forum try Facebook.
We are all cool bro's.
"For social forum try Facebook." You read my mind. If you need help setting up a facebook page, I would gladly help. I will even give you MY friends list to get you started. Please stop with the senseless posts. Five days and I'm sure by the end of the night, over a hundred posts? In FIVE days?
Travis, There is no competition. These comments that have been made about all of your posts are a little tongue in cheek. It is easier to understand when you have been around here for quite a while.
Let me try to explain a little:
When you first joined, you fired off a ton of very elementary questions. You were excited and we all understand that. I still have that excitement about roof cleaning and learning. Most of those questions you fired off have been answered many, many times on this forum. Any of us that have been here for quite a while have answered those questions many times.
A lot of the new guys that come here don't spend any time trying to learn roof cleaning on their own. They expect to have it all handed to them. In fact some seem to feel some sense of entitlement. They even get mad sometimes if you don't answer their question quickly enough. Trust me when I tell you that those people can be really frustrating. We all work very hard and and feel we deserve a little bit of respect for the time and information that we donate here. They are giving you a hard time because a guy who throws up 80 to 90 posts in 5 days looks like a guy that just wants to have the info handed to him.
The other thing you have to realize is that we have had guys here in the past that have been listed as "Certified Roof Cleaner" with as many as 400 posts and they had never even cleaned a roof. As a result, we have had guys post a bunch of non sense just so that they could get the title certified and put it on their web site.
Settle down a little. You don't want to seem ungrateful or entitled. It won't endear you to the people that can help you the most. The information will come. Just spend as much time reading as you can and ask pertinent questions that may provide some insight to others when the question is answered.
Good luck with your roof cleaning business.
Brian

I do more reading than asking. I receive the daily email digest and when a topic comes up thats interesting I read through but rarely reply. I need to get it in gear and get my certification!!!
Well I have been using the piss out of the Search button but when I can I ask questions thats not posted I also comment on new topics I read As you can See I'm on the site 16 hours out of the day =]
